Caleb pulls the plug on Moosomin project

Caleb Group has decided to cancel planning for its Caleb Village Moosomin project because it hasn’t sold enough units to make it viable.

The EyeOnCaleb team is eager to learn more about this turn of events, especially as the facility that the Caleb Group planned for Moosomin, SK is modeled after their Pilot ‘Caleb Village’ - the same one with the reportedly high staff turnover and vacancy rates - in Kindersley, SK.

In The World-Spectator article, Caleb Group Chair Darrell Remai is reported to have stated in a letter to Moosomin’s Mayor Don Bradley

“We wish to advise that, as a result of insufficient commitments, we will no longer be pursuing the development of a Caleb Village for Moosomin,”

It would appear that the Caleb Group fell short of it’s goal to attract enough ~~cash money~~ interest from the Hard Working Senior Citizens of Moosomin to warrant them investing in small town Saskatchewan.
